We want to share our take on online distance education, read the following. It includes modified versions of several sections of the first volume and a basic skills curriculum framework and daily living skills course outlines. This guide describes how to set up, implement, and evaluate an individualized leisure program for secondary school students with disabilities. Field testing of the program found that students who participated online distance education in the program were more independent in their leisure and had a smoother post school adjustment.

Among the results reported by the survey were the following one third of higher institutions offered distance courses, and an estimated 25, 730 courses were offered, online distance education approximately753, 640 students were formally enrolled in distance courses in academic year 1994 95, public 2 year institutions accounted for 55 percent, public 4 year institutions for 31 percent, and private 4 year institutions for 14percent of the students enrolled in distance, about 25 percent of the institutions offered degrees that could be completed through taking distance online distance education courses exclusively.
