Overall, interviewees viewed the seek funding system as an improvement petroleum engineering online education over the previous funding mechanism and approved the greater flexibility resulting from the blending of special and regular funds. Directors also identified concerns with the new system, including insufficient state and federal funds to support appropriate placements, related services, staff development, materials, transportation, and facility modifications.
